Burnett and Stender Families Professor of Epidemiology (Microbial Diseases); Director of the Center for Infectious Disease Modeling and Analysis (CIDMA)

Dr. Galvani’s team is applying data-driven modeling, statistical and simulation tools to provide estimates of healthcare demands and effectiveness of various containment and mitigation approaches at county and state levels for the US. Their findings will allow policy makers to make and adjust informed decisions pertaining to the optimal use of health resources and social intervention measures during the course of the pandemic depending on various scenarios and locales.
