President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić will host the visit of the President of the Republic of France Emmanuel Macron on the 15th and 16th July 2019.
Media accreditation for coverage of the visit shall be mandatory. All interested media are asked to get their respective crews accredited through the link accreditations not later than Thursday, 11th July 2019 by 12:00 o'clock.
Please, do comply with the deadline for accrediting of your crew members, as we will not be able to approve delayed requests.
You will be able to collect the accreditations on Friday, 12th July 2019 from 10:00 to 18:00h in the building of the General Secretariat of the President of the Republic (No. 1, Andrićev venac Street).
The programme and schedule will be timely delivered to you.

On the occasion of the national holiday of the Republic of France, President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić conveyed a Letter of Congratulations to President Macron, which reads as follows:
“Your Excellency, dear friend,
Please receive my sincere congratulations on the occasion of the national holiday, with the best wishes for the progress of France and wellbeing of all of its citizens.
While you celebrate the liberty, equality and fraternity with a magnificent parade on the Elysian Fields, everyone who shares those timeless ideals partakes in that celebration with the proud people of France. Among those are the citizens of Serbia, the country that has always fought for the ideals of liberty and independence.
Merely a day later, I will be honoured to wish you a welcome. After almost two decades, you are the first President of France to visit Serbia, and that in the year when we mark the 180th anniversary of the establishment of our diplomatic relations. You are coming to Belgrade – one of only five cities outside France graced by the Legion of Honour, deserved by the Serbian capital city for the "sacrifices, bravery and magnificent resistance displayed in the Great War"; to Belgrade which remains unique by its monument of Gratitude to France; and to Serbia, whose freedom fight served as inspiration to Victor Hugo. That is why your visit will remind us that the two peoples have cast their fraternity throughout some of the most difficult of historical circumstances.
Your visit will also represent an affirmation that Serbia and France are on the sound path to attain the higher levels of political and economic cooperation which their unshakeable friendship and proclaimed strategic partnership do deserve. Until the present days, we keep sharing the values upon which modern Europe rests and I am convinced that our European path is realistic and enforceable in your vision of the reformed European Union.
You can always count on Serbia as a reliable partner in the perseverance of stability in the Western Balkans. Considering the reputation and influence of France within the scopes of European and global politics, please allow me to emphasise the significance of the support you extend to our regional policy of peace and cooperation, as well as to the solution of issues of indispensable interest for the progress of Serbia, such as the issue of Kosovo and Metohija.

Predsednik Francuske Emanuel Makron doputovaće oko 15.00 časova u Beograd u dvodnevnu posetu tokom koje će mu domaćin biti predsednik Srbije Aleksandar Vučić.
Prema informacijama Službe predsednika za saradnju s medijima, posle dočeka na Aerodromu "Nikola Tesla", oko 15.15 sati ulsediće ceremonija otkrivanja ploče povodom početka radova na modernizaciji Aerodroma koju sprovodi kompanija "Vansi erports".
Progrmamom posete u 16.00 sati predvidjena je ceremonija svečanog dočeka ispred Palate Srbija, nakon čega će u 16.15 sati uslediti sastanak dvojice predsednika.
U 16.40 časova predvidjena je ceremonija razmene potpisanih bilateralnih dokumenata u prisustvu dvojice predsednika.
Nakon toga, u 16.45 sati uslediće izjave za medije predsednika Vučića i predsednika Makrona.
Za 17.30 zakazan je plenarni sastanak delegacija Republike Srbije i Republike Francuske.
Za 18.20 predvidjena je ceremonija polaganja venaca na Spomenik braniocima Beograda 1914-1918, a u 18.30 polaganje cveća na grob Milunke Savić u Aleji velikana.

Tokom posete Beogradu Makron će imati najviše mere bezbednosti i njegov dolazak biće propraćen pod budnim okom oko 100 francuskih bezbednjaka koji stižu sa njim. Jedna grupa je već stigla u Srbiju, gde sa pripadnicima srpske policije i službi bezbednosti do detalja priprema plan zaštite.
Proveravaju se takođe i rute kojima će se kretati Makron, a očekuje se da tokom dvodnevne posete bude angažovano 4.000-5.000 policajaca, uz pripadnike specijalnih jedinica MUP i Vojske Srbije, BIA, VBA i VOA.
Član Svetske asocijacije šefova policija Marko Nicović kazao je ranije da je predsednik Francuske jedan od najbolje čuvanih državnika u svetu
- Nije isključeno da u Makronovom obezbeđenju ima i pripadnika Legije stranaca. Oni su prošli najteže obuke i imaju posebne mentalne i fizičke sposobnosti. To su isključivo komandanti, Francuzi. O njegovoj zaštiti brinu i eksperti farmacije, medicine, hemijskog oružja, da bi eliminisali opasnosti od trovanja hranom ili dodira s predmetima. Bezbednosno će biti pokriveno mesto gde spava. Čak će doneti čaršave, peškire, sapune, šampone... - priča on.
Francuski predsednik će, prema dosadašnjim informacijama, najverovatnije biti smešten u hotelu "Hajat".
Svetska štampa ocenjuje da su Makron i Sebastijan Kurc mladi lideri nove Evrope, da sada utvrđuju svoje pozicije, pa se Makronov dolazak može tumačiti i kao pokušaj da svoj uticaj proširi i ojača na Balkanu.
