And the spark was still there when Angie Dickinson, 86, was spotted outside her Los Angeles home recently.
The star popped a white trilby over her grey-blonde tresses as she went out in the bright sunshine to pick up some scraps of trash in her drive.
The star teamed the hat with a baggy white sweater, black pants and flip-flops.
Angie is best known for her role as Sergeant Leann 'Pepper' Anderson in the NBC crime series Police Woman, which ran from 1974 to 1978, becoming the first woman to play a cop.
But she was a beauty who had attracted attention since 1954, when she appeared in five TV series.
She had a role in the original 1960 version of Ocean's 11 opposite Frank Sinatra as Danny Ocean, playing his wife Beatrice, and reportedly had a 10-year affair with the star.
